This documentary series explores the various traditional crafts and manual trades practiced by different communities and individuals throughout Colombia’s Caribbean region, highlighting the creation of handcrafted objects deeply connected to the cultural identity of their territories and to their practical role in the daily lives of their people.

Throughout its episodes, the series follows the making of hats, handicrafts, musical instruments, and other representative objects of Caribbean culture, emphasizing not only their artistic and cultural value, but also their importance within activities such as agriculture, commerce, tourism, and other key sectors that shape the region’s economy and social dynamics.

The music composed for this production draws inspiration from the distinctive sounds and musical traditions of the Colombian Caribbean coast, accompanying in a sensitive and organic way the emotions experienced by the artisans throughout their creative processes. At the same time, the score explores the different landscapes and sonic atmospheres present in each stage of the craft, bringing depth, identity, and emotional closeness to the narrative of the series.
